Good morning, Pittsburgh!

Memorial Day is behind us, which around here is the unofficial start of outdoor season. The Pirates host the Twins for three at PNC, The Great Gatsby takes its final bows at the Benedum Sunday, and the Pittsburgh Symphony closes its season with Scheherazade at Heinz Hall.

May goes out the way it should: a free beer garden in Schenley Park, a 5K that ends at a brewery, and a Sunday vintage market on the museum lawn.

In today's What's On Pittsburgh:

🌳 A free pop-up beer garden in Schenley Park, with food and live music
🦜 World Parrot Day at the National Aviary (yes, that's a thing)
🎻 The Pittsburgh Symphony closes its season with Scheherazade
🎬 Trailer Bash free indie film fest at Mr. Smalls

Let's get to it.

All Weekend Long

🎭 The Great Gatsby closes Sunday at the Benedum, the touring Broadway musical's final three Pittsburgh performances. If you've been waiting on word of mouth, this is your last chance.

🎻 Scheherazade closes the Pittsburgh Symphony season at Heinz Hall: Rimsky-Korsakov's Arabian-Nights showpiece, Korngold's Violin Concerto with Stefan Jackiw, and a shimmering Salina Fisher opener. Three nights, Friday to Sunday.

👕 Annual Clothing Drive wraps Sunday at Bakery Square, last weekend to drop gently used clothes for Light of Life at the East End offices.
