What's On Pittsburgh · Weekend
Good morning, Pittsburgh!
Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, which hardly ever happens, and the city has planned accordingly.
Take the free one first. The CMU Philharmonic plays Night on Bald Mountain at Heinz Hall at 2 on Saturday. Costumes encouraged, tickets required, no charge.
Friday is the grown up night. The Gateway Clipper sails its last haunted cruise of the year, fireWALL opens COVEN at the Greer, and Slappers N Bangers brings its Halloween party indoors to Thunderbird.
Sunday the Steelers host Cleveland at 1, so plan around it.
Let's get to it!

★ WEEKEND PICK
🎻 CMU Philharmonic: Halloween at Heinz Hall
Heinz Hall · Downtown · Sat 2 p.m., doors 1.30 · Free, tickets required
Carnegie Mellon's orchestra gives Halloween afternoon to Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain and Dukas' The Sorcerer's Apprentice, with Falla's El Amor Brujo and Kapustin's second piano concerto in between. Jacob Joyce guest conducts. Eighty minutes, no interval, costumes encouraged, and activities in the lobby for children before the downbeat.
Why go: A free seat in Heinz Hall is rare, a free seat in Heinz Hall on Halloween with a witches' sabbath on the stand is rarer, and you are out by half past three with the whole night still ahead of you.
All Weekend Long

Target Hair Thinning Where it Begins—at the Cellular Level

There are many products for hair thinning on the market, but they don’t all deliver on their claims. OneSkin’s OS-01 HAIR SCALP SERUM is the only peptide-powered scalp formula scientifically proven to target cellular senescence, a leading driver of age-related thinning, for thicker hair over time.
